What is JetZero?
Today’s aircraft contribute around 2.5% of global CO2 emissions, equivalent to the emissions of 200 million cars. This is only going to increase: Air travel is forecasted to double by 2050, while meaningful efficiency gains using current airplanes have hit a wall.
JetZero is developing a blended wing aircraft. It uses 50% less fuel and can accommodate zero-emission hydrogen propulsion. JetZero is the inevitable solution to sustainable air travel.

This is why we’re hiring a Head of Project Engineering. You will work with the Engineering and Program teams to ensure the various projects: Pathfinder, full-scale demonstrator and first production airplane are completed on Time, Cost, and Quality.

What You’ll Do
- Develop centralized execution plans for the Pathfinder, Demonstrator and Product projects as needed
- Identify critical path activities and manage key intendencies to secure execution of the various programs
- Implement robust risk and opportunity management that compliments the Program Manager’s risk register
- Ensure technical integrations across the transverse groups as required
- Establish engineering requirements for deployment of the selected PLM solution
- Develop and apply readiness criteria for the different program phases (Safety of Flight, etc.)
- Expand support to external supplier integration and needed
- Establish the deployment of regular cost reviews, cost controls and management
[BD1]within the Engineering function - Deploy processes and tools for performance metrics and governance
- Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field from an accredited university.
- 10 years of experience in project/program management of highly integrated and large-scale complex projects
- Experience with MS Project or other project management tools is preferred
- Previous experience on aircraft development programs is considered an asset
